AERIS/ICARE was at the 2025 Computing and Data days
For the first time, the AERIS/ICARE team participated in and co-organized the Computing and Data Days with the University of Lille’s Mesocenter, which took place from September 15 to 17, 2025, on the campus of the Cité Scientifique in Villeneuve d’Ascq.
These days bring together the French scientific community and are dedicated to both scientific users from all disciplines and technical experts in grid computing, cloud computing, and mesocenter infrastructures.
On this occasion, AERIS/ICARE was able to present the data it hosts and produces, the associated services and its infrastructure. A focus was also placed on the national structuring around Earth and Environment System data, with the AERIS atmospheric data center and the Data Terra Research Infrastructure as one of the first nodes of the EOSC (European Open Science Cloud) federation.
Pour la première fois, l’équipe AERIS/ICARE a participé et co-organisé avec le Mésocentre de l’Université de Lille les Journées Calcul et Données qui se sont déroulées du 15 au 17 septembre 2025 sur le campus de la cité scientifique à Villeneuve d’Ascq.
Ces journées regroupe la communauté scientifique française et sont dédiés à la fois aux utilisateurs scientifiques issus de toutes disciplines et aux experts techniques des infrastructures de grilles de calcul, de cloud et des mésocentres.
A cet occasion, AERIS/ICARE a pu présenter les données qu’elle héberge et produits, les services associés ainsi que ses infrastructures. Un focus a aussi été mis sur la structuration nationale autour des données du Système Terre et Environnement, avec le pôle de données atmosphère AERIS, l’Infrastructure de Recherche Data Terra en tant que l’un des premiers nœuds de la fédération EOSC ( European Open Science Cloud)
